Art History OER | Illustration and Design forward.
This project was aimed towards the collection of Open Education Resources for students in the Art History and History courses at Medicine Hat College. While working with the client, our goal was to broaden and strengthen the curriculum taught to students in these courses. We did this by carefully working towards the decolonization of the texts that were being used.
In order to deliver this to the students, it was my job as the artist and designer to collect the images, sources and content, and create PowerPoint documents for students to resource. In order to capture their attention and inspire them to actively learn the material, I designed the template and created individual illustrations showcasing artwork from the period being discussed.
Work completed;
